Buy cargo where it is cheap, haul it down the lane and sell it where it is scarce. Every crate you buy nudges the price up and every crate you sell pushes it down. Stations keep trading on their own while you are away.
Drop a drone pod onto a world. It sweeps the ground and maps only what it flies over, so you choose where to look. When ore turns up on its track, build a mine on the find.
Raiders warp in and the big ships take the line. The fleets trade fire in open space, and every loss chips away at morale. When one side breaks, it warps out and the fight is over.
Close in and match speed, then cut a breach through the hull. Your boarders push through the ship room by room. Hold the bridge and you hold the ship, and a captured ship is yours.
Ships break in half. Wrecks fall onto planets and crack the hex shields.
Hold more than 50% of orbit before you can land troops.
Once you hold the sky, troops land behind the front. You take the planet province by province, and the defenders fight back for every one of them.
One continuous zoom, from a single hex tile out to the planet, the system and the galaxy.
People remember you. Help them and they become allies. Cross them and they become rivals.
Rival corporations hold the systems next door. At war, fleets clash where borders meet and systems change hands. Take theirs, or lose yours.
Hide behind moons. Read the blips, and choose a passive or an active scan.
Fleets that build, reinforce and run trade routes by themselves.
Blueprints live on worlds. Lose a world and its blueprints go with it. Loot them back.
Start with a charter. Grow it into a company, or found a country of your own.
NPC companies are founded on their own. Pirates can grow into nations, a crisis that builds late in the game.
Every system we are building. Plans grow as the game does, with no dates attached.
